Chocolate, Coffee, Tea and other caffeine can cause irregular heart beat, diarrhea, dieresis, lethargy, muscle tremors, and vomiting. There's also a risk of death.

I wonder about chocolate, this is one of the most harmful thing to health, both humans and animals... but still produced and consumed in huge quantity... doctors must educate people and media must discourage charming advertisements...

my kitten Teddy likes to have a lick of my apple, pear, peach in the morning, what reason do you say this is dangerous, and also why is dry food dangerous as i have always been led to believe that it is better than wet food eg.dental, digestion, smell of faeces? i have also heard that contrary to previous beliefs milk can also cause diahorrea

Not quite. My cat ate dry food the first time I got him, and his poop REEKED. I kept on wondering if I can give him a 'raw' diet as an alternative, but I wonder if my relatives has the money..

I don't get any expensive meat. Also, though this does depend probably on where you live, you can get lots of free meat from hunters and people that just have old meat they don't want.

Some of the following food items can cause only mild digestive upsets, whereas, others can cause severe illness, and even death: Bones from fish, poultry, or other meat sources Canned tuna (for human consumption) Human vitamin supplements containing iron Large amounts of liver Onions and garlic (raw, cooked, or powder) Raw fish (if it's fed regularly)

Onions and garlic (raw, cooked, or powder) Raw fish (if it's fed regularly)

Oh my God!! I have given prohibited foods for my cats.. Now I know why at times Feliz (my cat) would vomit after i gave him a bit of chocolate.. I thought it wasn't the chocolate.. Thank you so much for these helpful information.. I really hope to learn more for the health of my cats.. I love them (Memoh and Feliz)..
